The Peace and Conflict Summer Program at RIT Kosovo was an awesome and eye-opening experience. The program, split between touring the Western Balkans and taking classes in Pristina taught by top experts and practitioners of the 1990s wars, was enjoyable and rewarding. The experience led to my own interests in further studying and working on issues related to conflict resolution and peace-building in the Balkans and also a desire to return to some of my favorite spots like Dubrovnik (Kings Landing), Sarajevo, and Durres while exploring more of the region.
