Bio
With over 10 years of experience in project and change management, Medina is currently a lecturer in the Management Unit and Head of Academic Services at RIT Kosovo. She has also lectured at the University of Sussex, UCLA, and the University of Prishtina, and teaches the International Project Management Preparatory Program.
Medina has significant experience, including overseeing the transposition of European nuclear safety directives in Kosovo, chairing a regional conference on nuclear security, and founding the eco-tourism enterprise "Ambienturë." The ROAMING Erasmus Project in Western Balkans, which she was running, has been successfully completed.
Medina, who holds degrees from RIT Kosovo, the University of Sussex (MSc in Economics), and UCLA (post-graduate studies in Entrepreneurship and Human Element in Leadership) and is a certified PMP, is now in charge of establishing the academic services at the new RIT Tirana campus.
Her achievements include the RIT Provost’s Award for Excellence in Advising (2021) and the Kosovo US Alumni Association's Emerging Leader Award (2022) for community initiatives like the Community Greenhouse and the Girl Power Science Fair.

RIT Kosovo, along with six other higher education institutions from the Western Balkans, has embarked on a partnership to strengthen staff and student mobility internationally.
