The 8th Annual Women Entrepreneurship Week
In order to mark the Women Entrepreneurship Week (WEW), RIT Kosovo is organizing a panel discussion with two women entrepreneurs who are RITK Alumni. The topic of discussion will be on the perspectives of women entrepreneurship in Kosovo and future opportunities.
“Managing the Workforce” students will be part of this event which is going to be available online or through Zoom Link. Additionally, Management Club of RITK will participate as well.

Business Owner - Entertainment Kosova
Yllka Metaj is the Owner of Entertainment Kosova that has two units/brands: (1) Trampoline Park - Area52 and (2) Virtual Reality Zone - SUPER7 and is the Director of the Kosovo Retail Association. Yllka is also the Business Development Department Manager and Member of the Board of the Galeria Shopping Mall in Prizren. In all Yllka’s professional engagements, the common denominator lies in the creation, development, and maintenance of the system and its sustainability in accordance with her goals! Yllka always brings her creativity and provides full will and pure respect for work and team.
Born and raised in Prishtina, Yllka received her Bachelor’s degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Prishtina, Kosovo, majoring in Management and Public Policy, and pursuing her Master’s studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in London, UK, studying Social Psychology. Yllka remains curious and passionate about developing and strengthening the role of women in society.
Yllka believes that the best investment is in education, especially in women's education. Only in this way can financial independence be achieved which is the strongest weapon a woman can have.
Donjeta Sahatçiu

Donjeta is a passionate executive and a certified digital transformation expert leading a successful tech team at Rrota, a digital agency crafting digital solutions for the world, over the last 10 years. An eldest sibling, raised in a family of traditional watchmaking craft discipline, she has grown to become an organized individual that is motivated by empathetic leadership and is an active enabler in the community. Recently a YTILI 2021 Fellow, Donjeta is hands-on involved in the dynamics of cultivating workforce and improving the business enabling environment by contributing to the missions of both VentureUP and Kosovo ICT Association as Board Chair, at RIT Kosovo as an Alumna Board Member, and at Business Consultants Council (BCC) as Board Treasurer.
With an academic background in management, she is particularly specialized in operations & business process innovation, people management, and digital comms. Leadership is sometimes a lonely place for her; witnessing people grow around her is what keeps her going every day. She is a vocal advocate of women empowerement. Today, Rrota has a 50:50 ratio of women to men employed. As one of the founders of WOMENinTECH Kosova, Donjeta is committed to encouraging girls join the ICT sector and potential women entrepreneurs maximize use of technology and design thinking to monetize their skills.
