Alumni Homecoming Brings Together Alumni as We Celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Founding of RIT Kosovo (A.U.K)

The RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) Development Department successfully organized the highly anticipated Alumni Homecoming event, gathering more than 300 alumni. This event represents RIT Kosovo (A.U.K)’S dedication to fostering a strong sense of community and recognizing exceptional contributions.

The Alumni Homecoming kicked off with opening remarks from the Chief Development Officer, Ms. Teuta Avdimetaj and continued with a welcome message from Dr. Kamal Shahrabi, President of RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) - who emphasized the transformative power of education and encouraged alumni to leverage their knowledge and experiences to drive positive change in their communities. Mr. Granit Hasani, President of the RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) Alumni Association addressed the crowd - inviting all alumni to become part of the Alumni Association while also emphasizing the importance of giving back.

A key highlight of the evening was the recognition and celebration of exceptional alumni as we mark the 20^th anniversary of the founding of RIT Kosovo (A.U.K). The Office of Alumni Relations distributed The Alumni Impact Awards for remarkable contributions of RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) graduates in their respective fields. The Alumni Impact Award for outstanding contributions to the Alma Mater was presented to the Zagragja Family, whose unwavering dedication and support have enriched the institution significantly.

Furthermore, the Alumni Impact Award for outstanding Community Service was presented to Ms. Mrika Aliu, acknowledging her remarkable efforts in making a positive difference in the community. Ms. Aliu's commitment to creating a better world aligns with RIT Kosovo (A.U.K)'s values, emphasizing the importance of community engagement and societal progress.

The Alumni Homecoming event also featured engaging activities, networking opportunities, and a showcase of the university's growth and achievements since its inception. The reunion was a splendid occasion for alumni to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate their achievements. It provided a platform to foster new connections and collaborations, reinforcing the strong sense of community that RIT Kosovo is known for.
