Co-Op opportunities given to RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) students

Knowing the importance of experiential learning (Co-Op) for our education system at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K), students and alumni are given the chance to gain a professional experience at companies which we as an institution have partnered with.

Arlinda Hajdari, our Co-Op and Career Coordinator and Kantar Kosovo, a leading company in data, insights, and consulting, cooperated on a joint initiative by providing internship opportunities for RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) students and alumni. Throughout the entire hiring process on campus, students and alumni received support and assistance in the application process

From the candidates whom Kantar Kosovo interviewed, two of them Agrinë Baraku and Eleta Shala successfully completed their internships and were hired as full-time employees.

Agrinë who graduated from RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) in May 2022 says: “Currently I am working with an amazing team that is helping me grow tremendously. I was able to find this job opportunity through the Co-Op & Career Office at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K). I started out as an intern and now I am a full-time employee. With the assistance of the Co-Op & Career Office, I was able to apply the knowledge I learned at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K.) to my current job position.”

According to Eleta, who also graduated from RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) in May 2022, Co-Op and Career Office at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) equipped her with the necessary tools to successfully get a job as a Researcher at Kantar Kosovo.

She says, "In my senior year of studies at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K), the Co-Op and Career Office assisted in my linkage to the company currently I work for as a full-time Researcher. After completing my internship at Kantar Kosovo, I was offered the opportunity to expand my scope of work by undertaking more complex and challenging tasks. In a month I mark one year of working at Kantar Kosovo, and the experience gained has prepared me to work in a team in order to successfully complete projects.  I now have a clearer picture of what my future holds".

RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) is the only institution that has experiential learning through Co-Op and Career Services Office within its curriculum.  The office is open to current students and alumni to facilitate hiring process by finding companies interested to hire interns or employees.
