Rina Hasani Explores New Horizons as an RIT Global Scholar
RIT Kosovo is proud to highlight the inspiring exchange experience of Rina Hasani, a Biberaj Foundation Scholarship recipient and Computing and Information Technology major. Rina spent the Spring 2024 semester at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York through the RIT Global Scholars Program, an initiative that allows students to gain academic and cultural experiences across RIT’s global campuses.
Reflecting on her time abroad, Rina shared:
"While I expected to gain valuable academic knowledge—and I certainly did—the most surprising discovery was the strong bonds I formed with other international students. Despite our different backgrounds, we supported one another as we adapted to a new environment, creating lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories, from late-night study sessions to snow tubing adventures."
Rina’s exchange semester expanded her academic knowledge, deepened her understanding of the world, and gave her the opportunity to experience life in a new cultural and educational setting.
The RIT Global Scholars Program continues to offer students like Rina life-changing opportunities to learn, grow, and connect with peers worldwide.
