RIT Kosovo Alumnus Leads Banking Innovation in Kosovo
RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) proudly spotlights Kushtrim Aliu (BS '13), an exemplary alumnus who has risen to a leadership role as the Group Head for Central Operations, Information Technology, and Human Resources at Banka Kombëtare Tregtare (BKT) Kosova.
After earning honors in Economics and Statistics and Management at RIT Kosovo in 2013, Kushtrim continued his academic journey with a Master’s in Banking, Finance, and Accounting, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Economics. His banking career at BKT Kosova began in 2014 as a Credit Analyst, followed by roles as an Internal Auditor and later as Head of Internal Control.
Kushtrim’s most notable achievements include leading the bank’s transformation into a subsidiary and driving major business process reengineering projects to enhance its digital and customer-focused operations.
Reflecting on his journey, Kushtrim credits RIT Kosovo for shaping his professional success:
