RIT Kosovo Student Completes Transformative Exchange Semester at HAMK University in Finland
RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) proudly highlights the inspiring journey of Bora Bokshi, a senior student pursuing Peace & Conflict Studies and Web & Mobile Computing (IT), who recently completed an exchange semester at HAMK University in Valkeakoski, Finland, during Fall 2024.
Bora’s exchange experience was not only academically enriching but also personally transformative. Reflecting on her time in Finland, she shares:
"My exchange semester at HAMK in Finland reshaped how I see independence, adaptability, and learning. The Finnish education system pushed me to take initiative, think critically, and embrace a hands-on approach—something that challenged and excited me. Outside of academics, navigating life in a new country, from the long winters to cultural nuances, made me more resourceful and open-minded. I learned to embrace discomfort, find solutions on my own, and connect with people from different backgrounds. It wasn’t just about studying abroad—it was about growing into someone who thrives in unfamiliar situations.”
Exchange opportunities like Bora’s are part of RIT Kosovo’s commitment to providing students with global experiences that broaden their perspectives, foster cultural understanding, and prepare them to excel in diverse environments.
We congratulate Bora on her achievements and look forward to seeing how her international experience shapes her future both personally and professionally.
At RIT Kosovo, you're preparing for the real world, in the real world.
