RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) College Hosts USAID Mission Director, Eileen Devitt and Team for Strategic Discussions and Campus Tour

Prishtina, Kosovo – RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) College proudly hosted a visit from Eileen Devitt, the Mission Director for the USAID Mission in Kosovo, on Wednesday, May 8th. Mission Director Eileen Devitt was joined by Mr. Alex Albertine, Director of the Office for Economic Growth in Kosovo, Mr. Eric Guetschoff, Private Enterprise Officer, and by Ms. Merita Teliqi-Devaja, Project Management Specialist at USAID Kosovo. The visit included a series of engaging discussions and a campus tour, underscoring the collaborative efforts between USAID and RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) for inclusive and accessible higher education and technology in the region.

RIT Kosovo (A.U.K)’s team led by our President – Dr. Kamal Shahrabi presented ongoing initiatives for integrating more accredited American curricula, our successful partnerships with USAID’s American Schools and Hospitals Abroad (ASHA) program, as well as other initiatives that form exemplify the synergetic relationship between RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) and USAID. Furthermore, our team also presented our world-renowned Frederic C. Cuny Center for Peace and Conflict Studies Program, which is attended by students from the US, Europe, Western Balkans and beyond and led by a world-class team of American scholars, former diplomats and leaders. At the conclusion of this meeting, we toured our American STEM laboratories funded by USAID, and showcased our vast portfolio of licensed CISCO Network Academy courses offered by our in-house Training and Development Institute (TDI), emphasizing the enhancement of technical and digital skills as key components for private sector workforce development.
