Sara Dumani Shares Her Global Scholar Experience at RIT, New York
Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Kosovo is proud to share the story of Sara Dumani, a student pursuing Management & Entrepreneurship, Peace and Conflict Studies, who had the opportunity to study at RIT Main in Rochester, New York during the Spring 2024 semester as part of the Global Scholar Program.
Reflecting on her transformative experience, Sara says:
“Every day in Rochester was an adventure, from immersive classes to a dynamic campus life. The best moments were spent with new friends from all around the world, cheering at RIT hockey games and visiting Niagara Falls together. Having a Global Scholar experience is a hallmark every student should experience at least once, and I’m happy I was part of it.”
Sara’s journey exemplifies the spirit of international education, offering students at RIT Kosovo the opportunity to engage in world-class academics, broaden their cultural horizons, and build lifelong global connections.
The Global Scholar Program enables students to transition between campuses, fostering unique opportunities for personal and professional growth. Sara’s story highlights how these experiences empower students to become global leaders ready to make a difference.

Successful Training on AI and Education for Fulbright ETAs at RIT Kosovo
RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) in partnership with American Councils Kosovo, as the administrator of the United States – Kosovo Educational Exchange Board (USKEB) hosted the training program titled "AI and Education for English Teaching Assistants (ETAs)" on December 6, 2024. This event brought together 17 Fulbright English Teaching Assistants (ETAs) from Kosovo and the Western Balkans region, providing them with tools and insights to integrate AI into their teaching practices.

RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) hosted its annual gala, “Support Kosova’s Next Success Story,” at the Russian Tea Room in New York City, bringing together distinguished members of the Albanian American diaspora, philanthropists, community leaders, and supporters united in their commitment to raising funds for student scholarships. Mr. Michael Hess, Chair of the RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) Board of Trustees, welcomed the guests and introduced an impressive lineup of speakers, emphasizing the importance of investing in the next generation of leaders from Kosova and beyond.
