Today, RIT Kosovo proudly hosted Emina Cunmulaj Honorary Consul of Albania to Florida, philanthropist, and founder of Emina’s Hand, and H.E. Atifete Jahjaga, former President of Kosovo and founder of Jahjaga Foundation, for an inspiring discussion on empowering communities through philanthropy.
Emina shared her journey from humble beginnings growing up in Montenegro to Vogue covers, and how her work with the Emina's Hand Foundation is making a positive impact. "There is a sense of love when you give," she said. Emina also credited Fadil Berisha for bringing her to Kosovo for the first time, igniting her passion for helping women in the region.
President Jahjaga inspired all with her advice to always believe in oneself and stand firm in one's values, encouraging women to support each other.
After the chat, Emina Cunmulaj and President Jahjaga discussed future collaborations with RIT Kosovo’s President, Dr. Kamal Shahrabi and the potential to continue making a difference in people's lives.

Prishtina, Kosovo – RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) College proudly hosted a visit from Eileen Devitt, the Mission Director for the USAID Mission in Kosovo, on Wednesday, May 8th. Mission Director Eileen Devitt was joined by Mr. Alex Albertine, Director of the Office for Economic Growth in Kosovo, Mr. Eric Guetschoff, Private Enterprise Officer, and by Ms. Merita Teliqi-Devaja, Project Management Specialist at USAID Kosovo. The visit included a series of engaging discussions and a campus tour, underscoring the collaborative efforts between USAID and RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) for inclusive and accessible higher education and technology in the region.
