Production Option - Film and Animation BFA

In support of the college admission process, prospective students from around the country received portfolio reviews from RIT faculty and reps from other leading art and design colleges.

Matt Taylor '02 (film and animation - production option) was the co-supervising sound editor of a Warner Bros. sound team that won an Emmy Award for its efforts on Barry.

Mackenzie Bates ’18 (Film and Animation) and Annika Servin ’18 (Film and Animation; Photojournalism) each won a category in the CILECT North America Best Film Award competition. 

RIT’s MAGIC Spell Studios opened the doors to its new home this fall, inviting students, faculty and industry professionals to experience a digital media development and publishing learning laboratory never before seen in the Northeast.
