    RIT Baja Racing goes off-road for competition and careers

    RIT Racing and teams from Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico, Canada, India and the United States will field race cars, built by student-engineers, and test them on a track that will challenge not only the durability of the cars but the problem-solving capabilities of the teams during the 2019 Baja SAE Rochester World Challenge June 6-9.

    RIT’s College of Liberal Arts honors students for writing excellence

    RIT’s College of Liberal Arts honored student achievement in writing on Friday with the presentation of more than a dozen writing awards for essays varying from sanctuary cities, how democracies can withstand outside meddling, and the excavation, preservation and reconstruction of a London theater where Shakespearian plays debuted.

    Civil Engineering Technology goes abroad

    More than 60 students in the civil engineering technology program have participated in department organized (or independent) study abroad programs since 2010. We promote and encourage our students to learn professional skills while they travel to places like Ireland and Croatia.

    Graduates construct Rochester Top 100 company

    Justin Hamilton and Christopher Stern were standing on the basketball court sidelines in 1998 when they started talking about majors. That was the beginning of Hamilton Stern Construction, a company that was No. 1 on the Rochester Chamber Top 100 list of fastest growing private companies in 2016.
