Furniture Design Option - Studio Arts BFA

Domenic Fiorello '11 (Furniture Design) has operated his own custom furniture design company since 2014, creating thoughtfully made products for customers. 

The Lewiston Tribute features Ted Kelchner '92 (woodworking and furniture design).

Nine RIT College of Art and Design students showcased wearable sculpture made through the creative use of various materials at Rochester’s annual Maker Faire. 

In support of the college admission process, prospective students from around the country received portfolio reviews from RIT faculty and reps from other leading art and design colleges.

Andy Buck has traveled the world, gathering professional experience he enthusiastically shares with his students. 

College of Art and Design faculty and staff led a workshop educating Rochester City School District art teachers on portfolio requirements and the art of photographing portfolio pieces. 

John Dodd, an instructor in RIT’s College of Art and Design for more than 40 years, is the sixth recipient of the Edline M. Chun Award for Outstanding Teaching and Service. The award, named in honor of the late RIT adjunct professor Edline Chun, has been given annually since 2014 to a faculty member who exemplifies excellence and dedication in teaching to an affiliated school in the College of Art and Design.
