Cybersecurity Bootcamp for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Individuals

This comprehensive program is valued at $15,000 and is being offered for free through scholarships provided by ThiveDX and DEAFCYBERCON for 18 qualified applicants.

Enrollment is limited to 18 participants. We are looking for committed, motivated learners who can invest the time and effort needed to be successful in this course. Participants will be expected to attend seven hours of lecture per week, along with an additional five hours of self-study during the 32-week program. Participants have the option to enroll in a two-month certification preparation course for CompTIA Security+. Upon successfully completing this prep course, they will receive an exam voucher to take the certification exam.

To be considered for this bootcamp, individuals must:

1. Have a high school diploma or equivalent
2. Be non-matriculated (not taking classes)
3. Demonstrate professional-level English proficiency
4. Complete an application form that includes questions on why you want to take this bootcamp
5. Provide documentation of severe-to-profound hearing loss
6. Complete an aptitude test and interview process
