DeafBlind Awareness Committee (DBAC)
DeafBlind Awareness Committee
A local DeafBlind group that plans and hosts events in the community such as DeafBlind Awareness Day, Protactile Social Hour, and fundraising events.

The committee also shares resources and assists DeafBlind people to connect with each other.

Helen Keller National Center (HKNC)

Provides training in assistive technology, vocational services, orientation and mobility, communication and independent living to people age 16 and over who have combined vision and hearing loss. Their regional offices bring HKNC resources to communities throughout the United States.

Tactile Communications

An FCC program serving people with combined significant vision and hearing loss who meet federal income guidelines. The equipment distribution program includes smartphones, tablets, computers, screen readers, braille displays, and adaptive software.
