My experiences at RIT/NTID have prepared me for a career as I have had an immense amount of experience as a cellular bench lab scientist through conducting research. Along with research, the courses I have taken set me up to have an amazing co-op experience.
Graphic Design

My VCS program at NTID taught me the basics I needed - graphic design, typography, Adobe software, page layouts, production work, raster and vector graphics, Illustrator, Photoshop, and how to prototype and visualize end goals.
Design & Imaging Technology

The classes really helped, I enjoy the production courses where we learn how to make mugs, shirts and posters. They’ve taught me how to use those machines and so that would definitely be beneficial for when searching for a job after I graduate.

The main role of the NTID Co-op and Career Center (NCCC) is to assist current students and graduates with their job search. Employment Advisors provide job search tutoring that can help you write or improve your resume and cover letter, complete a job application, put together a list of references and a portfolio, find job announcements on the Web and apply, and much more.
