Bio
Landing has over 18 years of experience working with Deaf communities in developing countries. He began his career as a Sign Language Instructor, progressing to Deputy Director, and later Project Coordinator with the Gambia Association of the Deaf. He also served as the Regional Coordinator for the World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) Regional Secretariat for West and Central Africa, covering 16 Anglophone countries.
After migrating to the U.S. in July 2015, he continued supporting the Deaf community by volunteering with Deaf Refugees Advocacy (DRA), advocating for Deaf newcomers to the U.S. He now works as the Senior Staff Specialist for NTID Substance Addiction and Intervention Services for the Deaf (SAISD) at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).
