Alice Beardsley Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund for Interpreting Students at NTID
Established in 1997 by NTID faculty and staff members in memory of Alice Beardsley, NTID's first interpreter. This fund provides scholarship assistance for interpreting students at RIT/NTID.

Allen and Gloria Gopen Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1993 by Allen and Gloria Gopen to support scholarship awards for deaf students enrolled at RIT through NTID.

Alumni Summer Campership Fund
Gifts here provide the resources needed to allow deaf youth to participate in summer camp programs on the RIT/NTID campus that will help them prepare for success in college and beyond.

Alvina Narkin Endowment
Established in 2019, to provide scholarship support to students enrolled at RIT/NTID in a full-time baccalaureate degree level program.

Andrew and Mary Brenneman Annual Scholarship
Established in 2014, to provide scholarship support to deaf and hard-of-hearing students at RIT/NTID who have a secondary disability (i.e. mobility impaired, blind, etc.).

Andrew Jacobson Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2019, to provide scholarship support to RIT/NTID students.

Ann Wadsworth Frisina Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund
This scholarship recognizes and assists NTID women students with demonstrated academic promise and integrity enrolled in RIT's Saunders College of Business.

Barbara M. Fallon KPMG Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2008, the Barbara M. Fallon KPMG Memorial Endowed Scholarship provides academic scholarships annually to deaf and hard-of-hearing students at RIT/NTID who demonstrate financial need.

Barlow Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1983 by George R. and Theresa S. Barlow to support scholarship awards for students at NTID.

Benjamin J. Soukup Endowed Scholarship Fund at NTID
Established in 2011, the Benjamin J. Soukup Endowed Scholarship Fund at NTID provides academic scholarships annually to deaf and hard-of-hearing students at RIT/NTID.

Carolie R. Simone Endowed Scholarship at NTID
Established in November 2006, the Carolie R. Simone Endowed Scholarship Fund provides academic scholarships annually to deaf and hard-of-hearing students enrolled in the National Technical Institute for the Deaf, either in an associate degree program and/or cross-registered into any of the baccalaureate degree programs in teh other colleges of RIT. Furthermore, it will give preference to students graduating from the Rochester School for the Deaf.

Citigroup Endowed Scholarship Fund at NTID
Established in 1988 to support scholarships for NTID sponsored students enrolled in business programs in NTID and deaf students pursuing a baccalaureate degree in RIT's Saunders College of Business.

Continental Corporation Endowed Scholarship Fund at NTID
Established in 1988 to provide an annual award to a deaf student enrolled in business programs at NTID.

David T. Kearns Endowed Scholarship Fund for Technical Excellence
Established by Frank Steenburgh and Barry Rand of Xerox Corporation in honor of David T. Kearns, retired Xerox CEO and Chairman. The purpose of the fund is to recognize students who demonstrate exceptional technical achievement in their discipline.

Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2007, the Delta Sigma Phi (DSP) Fraternity Endowed Scholarship provides academic scholarships annually to students at RIT/NTID who are active members of the Eta Eta Chapter of DSP fraternity. Recipients must demonstrate a high level of academic achievement and have a track record of service to their community.

Doris W. Blanchard Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2003, this fund provides academic scholarships to deaf and hard-of-hearing women enrolled in the National Technical Institute for the Deaf, a college of Rochester Institute of Technology. Recipients must be enrolled in the Master of Science in Secondary Education program at NTID. They must be in good academic and financial standing, have at least a 3,0 grade point average and deomonstrate financial need.

Dorothy E. Ann Fund (D.E.A.F.) Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2005, this fund provides annual academic scholarships to deaf and hard-of-hearing students residing from the State of Ohio and enrolled in the National Technical Institute for the Deaf, a college of Rochester Institute of Technology.

Dr. Ellie Rosenfield Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2010 to honor the work of Dr. Ellie Rosenfield and support deaf and hard-of-hearing students at RIT who are in need of financial assistance.

Dr. Frank W. Lovejoy Jr. Endowment for Deafness Research
Established in 1998 by Mrs. Lynne Lovejoy in memory of her husband, a prominent Rochester physician.

Dr. Genji Murai Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established by Drs. William and Diane Castle in 1993 to support financial aid grants to international deaf students to attend RIT through NTID. Earnings may be used to support international travel for students, interns or NTID personnel.

Dr. James C. Marsters Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1999 by Dr. James C. Marsters to benefit deaf or hard-of-hearing students enrolled at Rochester Institute of Technology.

Dr. Karen K. Conner Annual Scholarship Fund
Established in 2007, to provide an annual scholarship award to a deaf or hard-of-hearing student enrolled at NTID.

Dr. Robert Frisina Award
Established in 1972 by RIT Trustee Maurice I. Abrams, M.D., to honor the work of Dr. D. Robert Frisina, to recognize the development of NTID within the overall purpose of RIT, and to accent the importance of student contributions to this development.

Drew and Frances King Endowment Fund
Established in 1993 by Mrs. Frances C. King. Because of Mrs. King's love of the arts, the annual earnings from this endowed fund will be used to advance opportunities for deaf students seeking to add to their understanding and expression in the visual arts. Such uses may include, but not be limited to, scholarship awards, support of an exhibit, or a visual arts activity.

DSK Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2019, to provide scholarship support to students enrolled at RIT/NTID. First preference is to students residing in the state of Missouri with secondary preference to students residing in the Midwest.

Edmund Lyon Memorial Lectureship
Established in 1979 with gifts from Mr. and Mrs. Francis Remington and the Hon. and Mrs. John Van Voorhis, to create a living memorial to Mr. Lyon through the establishment of a distinguished lectureship in the field of deafness at NTID. Edmund Lyon, who was one of the founders of the Rochester School for the Deaf and the inventor of the Rochester Method, served as an RIT Trustee for 15 years (1905-20), had a lifelong interest in the field of deafness and a concern for deaf individuals.

Edward H. Lichtenstein Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established by Harriett Lichtenstein in 1999 to honor the memory of her son, Edward, a professor of English at NTID. This fund is designated to support deaf and hard-of-hearing students who are in vital need of scholarship support to continue their education. This scholarship will be administered with the assistance of the English Department.

Edward L. Scouten Endowed Fund for English Literacy
Established in 2004, this fund provides financial support to the English Department to award a two to four week internship with the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID’s) English Department, a college of Rochester Institute of Technology. The purpose of the internship is to provide mentorship in best teaching practices to promote literacy. This fund was established to honor the memory of professor emeritus Edward L. Scouten, who was a faculty member in the NTID English Department from 1970 until his retirement in 1985. During these years, he served as chair and as teacher. Throughout his career, Professor Scouten made many important contributions to the understanding of deafness, to Deaf people, and to the teaching of English to Deaf people.

Edythe and Edward Sklar Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1990 by Dr. Diane Castle in memory of her parents to assist deaf students enrolled at RIT. Funds are to support the provision of audiological and vision care services at NTID with a particular emphasis on the acquisition of earmolds, hearing aids, and eyeglasses for students who have difficulty paying for such devices themselves.

Elizabeth Dunlap Sargent Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf
Established in 1989 by her husband, Edgar L. Sargent, in recognition of Elizabeth Dunlap Sargent's 37 years of service to young deaf men and women in the Rochester area as a teacher, mentor and friend, and to provide financial aid to deaf students at RIT.

Elizabeth W. Williams Endowed Fund for the Performing Arts
Established in 1997 by Elizabeth Williams to provide significant scholarship assistance for deaf and hard-of-hearing students at RIT/NTID involved in the performing arts.

Eloise Thornberry Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1989 to honor Eloise Thornberry, who served NTID for many years through the National Advisory Group, and to provide financial assistance to deaf students majoring in social work.

Farid Bozorgi Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established by the family and friends of Farid Bozorgi to perpetuate his memory and the importance of his work by providing financial assistance to promising deaf graphic designers in study at RIT.

Frank B. Sullivan Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2011 to provide annual scholarship(s) to deaf and hard-of-hearing students enrolled in the Business Studies program at the National Technical Insittute for the Deaf.

Frank Horton Endowed Scholarship Funds
Established in 1987 by RIT from proceeds raised at a testimonial dinner celebrating Congressman Horton's 25 years of service in the U.S. House of Representatives to extend scholarship support to RIT students through these funds: 1) graduate students; 2) hearing RIT undergraduate students; and 3) undergraduate deaf students at RIT.

Frank P. Benz, Jr. Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2003, this fund provides scholarship to deaf and hard-of-hearing students enrolled in the National Technical Institute for the Deaf, a college of Rochester Institute of Technology. Scholarship recipients must be deaf or hard of hearing and enrolled in NTID or one of the other colleges of RIT. They must be in satisfactory academic standing and deomonstrate financial need.

Garlinghouse Endowed Scholarship Fund
Mr. and Mrs. Roland Garlinghouse established the Garlinghouse Endowment in June 1992 in recognition of their son's success in the Computer Integrated Machining Technology program, and to recognize and assist deserving students enrolled in the Computer Integrated Machining Technology program at NTID.

Interpretek Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in February 2007, the Interpretek Endowed Scholarship Fund provides academic scholarships annually to students enrolled in the National Technical Institute for the Deaf and studying in the interpreting education program within the American Sign Language and Interpreting Education Department.

James J. DeCaro Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1998 by faculty, staff and friends of Jim DeCaro at NTID. This fund is to provide scholarship assistance for deserving deaf students enrolled in NTID's Career Restoration Program.

James Ventimiglia Memorial Printing Award Endowed Fund
Established by Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ventimiglia to honor the memory of James Ventimiglia, a graduate of RIT's School of Printing, and to provide scholarship awards to students with demonstrated financial need and academic excellence in the NTID Digital Imaging & Publishing Technology program.

Jennifer Van Atta Hayes Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2014 in memory of Jennifer Van Atta Hayes, a top NTID interpreter who dedicated her career to facilitating communication access for the deaf students she so diligently served. Proceeds from this fund support deaf students participating in study abroad experiences, and interpreting students participating in study aboard mentorship experiences.

Jephson Educational Trusts Endowed Scholarship Fund for the Performing Arts at NTID
Established in 2002, the Jephson Educational Trusts Endowed Scholarship Fund for the Performing Arts at NTID provides scholarships to deserving deaf and hard-of-hearing students active in the NTID Performing Arts Program.

Johanna Larson Endowed Fund for Health Care Education
Established in 2018, to provide students with opportunities to expand their understanding of health care career options.

Joseph C. and Loretta F. Wolf Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1991 by Mrs. Loretta F. Wolf to provide financial assistance to deaf students at NTID.

Kevin Mowl Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2009, the Kevin Mowl Memorial Endowed Scholarship provides academic scholarships annually to deaf or hard-of-hearing students who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to serve their community. The scholarship was established to honor Kevin Mowl, who on February 25, 2008 died from injuries sustained in Iraq while serving as a member of the U.S. Army. Kevin attended Pittsford schools until his junior year and graduated from Valley Forge Military Academy near Philadelphia in 2003. He is remembered for his love of history, politics, world travel and above all else, outstanding service to his community and country.

La Sala Doctoral Studies Endowed Fellowship Fund
Established in 2008 by Jess A. Cuculick, Assistant Professor in RIT’s Liberal Studies Department, supported by the La Sala Family Foundation, the La Sala Doctoral Studies Endowed Fellowship Fund will be used as an incentive for RIT/NTID deaf and hard-of-hearing faculty, staff, students, and alumni, as well as other deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals not affiliated with RIT/NTID, to pursue a doctoral degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology or any accredited university. The primary goal for this fellowship fund is to provide employment opportunities for deaf and hard-of-hearing people in higher education.

Lillian M. Cowin Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established at Eisenhower College in 1972 by Mrs. Edythe Cowin Matthews in memory of her sister, Lillian M. Cowin, to offer educational opportunity to young men and women of promise and integrity with special consideration given to the financial needs of deaf students at NTID. Seven merit-based scholarships of $1,500 will be available annually to newly admitted deaf students.

Louis S. and Molly B. Wolk Foundation Endowed Scholarship Fund for Deaf Students at RIT
Preference for this fund is given to students: (1) whose other sources of funding have been exhausted, and (2) who have exhausted all grants and student loans for which they are eligible to apply. Secondary preference is given to entering students who require financial assistance to enroll, thereby reducing students' reliance on loans, and decreasing their debts when they have graduated.

Lucille Ritter Jennings Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in memory of Lucille Ritter Jennings, widow of Rochester attorney John Arthur Jennings, to further the education of deaf students at RIT.

M. L. Navrat Endowed Scholarship Fund for NTID
To allow students who have demonstrated financial hardship as defined by NTID to enroll or remain enrolled at NTID.

Martin Family Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2016, to provide deaf and hard-of-hearing students encountering financial difficulties with funds to help them continue and/or complete their degree programs.

Martin L. and Suzanne S. Suter Endowed Scholarship
Established in 1999, provides academic scholarships to students who are deaf and hard of hearing and who are in good academic standing.

Mary Hope Robinson Endowment for the Performing Arts
Established in 1994 through the estate of Miss Mary Hope Robinson to support the performing arts program at NTID. Miss Robinson was a 1937 graduate of RIT's College of Fine and Applied Arts, and was interested in the benefits that the performing arts provide to deaf students.

Mary Jane Hellyar Endowed Scholarship Fund
Mary Jane Hellyar has been a long-time member of NTID’s Foundation Board of Directors and has served as its chairperson since 2004. Established in 2008, the Mary JaneHellyar Endowed Scholarship Fund is intended to provide scholarship support annually to deaf and hard-of-hearing women studying in the Laboratory Science Technology (LST) program with degree concentrations in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines while enrolled in programs of study at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf and Rochester Institute of Technology.

Maurice and Maxine Forman Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1977 by Maxine and RIT Trustee Maurice Forman, to provide an incentive to NTID students to pursue baccalaureate degrees in RIT professional programs.

Max and Helene Frumkes Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1985 by Mrs. Helene Frumkes to offer educational opportunity to deaf young men and women with demonstrated academic promise and integrity, who, because of financial need, might otherwise be unable to attend RIT/NTID.

Max Factor Family Foundation Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1991 by the Max Factor Family Foundation to provide scholarship awards to deaf students from the Greater Los Angeles/Southern California area.

Michael A. Swartzman Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1991 through gifts from the family and friends of Michael A. Swartzman to provide scholarship awards to deaf students enrolled in degree programs at RIT.

Michael E. Lawson Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2015, the fund supports two students annually. The first student must be deaf or hard-of-hearing and enrolled full time in the Master of Science in Secondary Education program. The second student must be deaf or hard-of-hearing and enrolled full time in the RIT College of Liberal Arts. The fund is named for Michael Lawson, a 2006 RIT/NTID graduate who led the RIT men’s soccer team from 2002-2006 and who earned top academic honors.

Michael Thomas Endowed Scholarship Fund in the Performing Arts
Established by friends of Michael Thomas, assistant professor of performing arts. Annual scholarships are given to deaf students who are active participants in, and who are determined to have made significant contributions to, the performing arts at NTID. Financial need is a consideration, but not a requirement.

Mildred F. Hall Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1989 by Mrs. Mildred F. Hall to provide financial aid to worthy deaf students enrolled at NTID.

Milton H. and Ray B. Ohringer Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1998 by Milton and Ray Ohringer to provide scholarship support to students who are in good academic standing at RIT/NTID.

Milton H. and Ray B. Ohringer Endowment Fund at NTID
Established by Mr. and Mrs. Milton Ohringer in 1985 through an initial gift of $25,000, the purpose is to provide assistance to NTID students in financial need.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Dyer Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1997 by Joseph and Helen Dyer to benefit RIT/NTID students in good academic standing.

Ned Behnke Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2005, this fund provides academic scholarships to deaf and hard-of-hearing students enrolled in the National Technical Institute for the Deaf, a college of Rochester Institute of Technology. This fund was established to honor the memory of Sally Behnke’s son Ned. Ned graduated from the College of Imaging Arts and Science with an MFA in 1976. The scholarship fund provides financial support to deaf and hard-of-hearing students at NTID pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Art and/or Photography at RIT.

NTID Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2001 to support scholarship awards for first-year students enrolled in an undergraduate program at RIT/NTID.

NTID ANONYMOUS
To provide scholarship assistance for deaf students at RIT.

NTID Architectural Technology Award Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established by the Community Architects, the local Rochester Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and the Upstate Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects to recognize outstanding performance in what is now NTID's Computer Aided Drafting Technology program.

NTID Business Careers Endowed Scholarship Fund
To provide scholarship assistance to deaf students enrolled in business majors.

NTID Emergency EYF Student Scholarship Fund
Established in 2006, this scholarship fund will be given to three students from the Lexington School for the Deaf who without the funds provided from this scholarship woudl be unable to attend NTID's Explore Your Future (EYF) summer program.

NTID Endowed Scholarship in Visual Arts Disciplines
Established in 2006, the NTID Endowed Scholarship in Visual Arts Disciplines was created to provide academic scholarships annually to RIT/NTID students enrolled in a visual arts degree program. It is hoped that this scholarship will encourage deaf and hard-of-hearing students to pursue careers in the visual arts.

Established to support special projects in the department of Cultural and Creative Studies at NTID or student scholarships for deaf students active in the performing arts.

NTID Student Leadership Endowed Fund
Established in 2006 by Dr. Eleanor D. Rosenfield through a bequest commitment from her estate, the NTID Student Leadership Endowed Fund will be used to encourage deaf and hard-of-hearing students to become more involved in co-curricular activities sponsored by NTID’s Student Life Team.

NTID Undergraduate Research Fund
NTID’s undergraduate research fund provides students with substantial experiential learning opportunities that cannot be experienced in the traditional classroom and allows them to contribute in innovative ways to cutting-edge fields. Gifts to this fund will be used to purchase materials needed for their projects and to travel to conferences to present their findings.

NTID Visual Communications Endowed Scholarship Fund
To provide scholarship assistance to deaf students enrolled in visual communications.

NYS Federation of Home Bureaus, Inc. Endowed Scholarship Fund in Honor of Martha Perry
Established in 1975 by the New York State Federation of Home Bureaus, Inc. to honor Mrs. Martha L. Perry of Holley, N.Y., a member of that organization for over 27 years. It was Mrs. Perry's specific request that this 35th scholarship of the federation be offered to RIT.

Pulver Family Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1995 through a commitment from Donald and Jane Pulver and family to NTID's Fulfilling the Promise campaign. Jane Pulver is deaf, and because of her special appreciation for the integration of deaf and hearing students at RIT, this scholarship benefits deaf students enrolled in one of the other colleges of RIT in pursuit of a bachelor's or master's degree.

Ralph Hymes Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1999 with a gift from Richard Hymes, Ralph's brother, the fund is designated to support deaf students enrolled in RIT's College of Liberal Arts.

RIT Celebration of Community Endowed Fund
Established in 2005, this fund provides financial support for programming to bring together hearing, deaf and hard-of-hearing students enrolled in RIT for social interaction.

Robert F. Panara Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1987 through an anonymous gift with additional investments made by NTID faculty, staff, alumni and parents to honor Professor Robert F. Panara for his 20 years of dedication to teaching and to the welfare of RIT students, and to provide financial assistance to deaf students at RIT/NTID.

Robert R. and Donna E. Davila Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2003 by the National Advisory Group, and faculty, staff and friends of the Davilas, this fund honors Dr. and Mrs. Davila's leadership and years of service.

Robert W. Rice Endowed Scholarship
Scholarships will be awarded to deaf and hard-of-hearing students who are ambitious, service oriented and have a strong work ethic as demonstrated by a 3.5 GPA or better.

Established in 2012 to provide scholarship support to RIT deaf and hard-of-hearing students who pursue a bachelor's degree at RIT's Saunders College of Business.

Ronald Dodge Faculty/Staff Grants Endowed Fund
Established to offer an opportunity for faculty and staff of NTID to pursue research and development efforts that hold promise for increasing the teaching effectiveness of those engaged in the instruction of deaf RIT students.

Ronald Dodge Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established by Mrs. Alberta B. Dodge in 1984 in memory of her husband, a 1929 graduate of the Mechanics Institute to: offer educational opportunities to young deaf men and women of promise and integrity who, because of financial need, might not otherwise attend NTID.

Rose and George Feigenbaum Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1995 by Mrs. Rose Feigenbaum to support scholarship awards for deaf students enrolled at RIT.

Rothman Family Endowment
Established in 1990 by Noel N. and Florence C. Rothman to support bringing appropriate role models to NTID to promote the positive self-image of and educational opportunities for young deaf men and women.

Royichi Sasakawa Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1993 through a $1 million grant from the Sasakawa Foundation of Japan to provide scholarship assistance to international deaf students enrolled at RIT through NTID.

Ruth G. Norton Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established by a bequest to NTID through the estate of Ruth G. Norton to support the activities of the chaplains assigned to serve deaf students. As a deeply religious person, Ruth Norton was very interested in the spiritual needs of deaf students on the RIT campus.

Ruth H. Fenyvessy Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1983 by Mrs. Ruth Fenyvessy to offer educational opportunities to young deaf men and women of promise and integrity who encounter financial emergencies during their tenure as students at RIT.

S. Richard Silverman Endowed Scholarship Fund for International Deaf Students
Established in 1990 to offer educational opportunity to worthy deaf students at RIT who are citizens of countries outside of the United States.

Sally J. Pimentel Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2016 to provide scholarship support to graduate level RIT students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, and majoring in a STEM program.

Sara L. Kuhnert Scholarship Fund at NTID
Established in 1990 by Mrs. Sara L. Kuhnert to recognize and assist one or more deaf women enrolled in a technical degree program at RIT. Mrs. Kuhnert contributed significantly to the corporate world of science and technology through a successful career at a time when few professionals were women. Her desire is to encourage young deaf women to strive to make their own unique contributions in the fields of science and technology.

Sasakawa-DeCaro Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1993 through a $1 million grant from the Sasakawa Foundation of Japan to provide scholarship assistance to international deaf students enrolled at RIT through NTID.

Shirley M. Panara Memorial Endowed Fund
Established in April 2006, The Shirley M. Panara Memorial Endowed Fund will assist the NTID Performing Arts Program within the Cultural and Creative Studies Department to enhance and preserve past and future theater performances by creating DVD versions of the shows and archiving all materials connected with the theater such as playbills, photographs, books, scripts, videotapes, films and art work.

Solon E. Summerfield Foundation Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1992 by the Solon E. Summerfield Foundation to provide scholarship awards to deaf students in good standing enrolled in degree programs at RIT/NTID.

Sprint Endowed Scholarship Fund at NTID
Established in 1994 to support scholarship awards for deaf students enrolled at RIT through NTID.

Stephanie Albert Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2020, provides scholarship aid to full-time undergraduate deaf and hard-of-hearing students at RIT/NTID. Preference in selecting recipients is to female students of color or multicultural students, including but not limited to students of African American, Latin American, Asian American or Native American heritage, or students with secondary disabilities.

T. Alan and Vicki T. Hurwitz Family Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in January 2006, T. Alan and Vicki T. Hurwitz Family Endowed Scholarship Fund provides academic scholarships annually to deaf and hard-of-hearing students enrolled in the National Technical Institute for the Deaf and cross-registered into any of the Sciences, Technology, Engineering, and/or Mathematics (STEM) programs of study at Rochester Institute of Technology.

The Al Van Nevel Memorial Foundation Scholarship for Excellence in Business Studies at NTID
Established in 2011 to provide annual scholarship awards to deaf and hard-of-hearing students enrolled in the Business Studies program at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf.

The Curt & Jean Feuer Scholarship at NTID
First preference in selecting scholarship awardees will be given to deaf or hard-of-hearing students who graduated from select schools in Massachusetts.

The David Smith Memorial Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship was established to honor the memoriy of David Smith, a second-year student in the NTID Applied Computer Technology program, whose life was cut short in July 2004 by an accident while competing in a national racing event sponsored by the World Karting Association.

The Johnson Scholarship Foundation Endowed Scholarship for Innovation & Entrepreneurship
Established in 2007, to support students pursuing a major, minor or concentration in Entrepreneurship.

The NTID Foundation Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established by NTID as a means of accumulating unrestricted earnings to support various institutional needs such as student scholarships.

The Paul and Sally Taylor Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in March 2007, the Taylor Family Endowed Scholarship Fund provides academic scholarships annually to deaf and hard-of-hearing students enrolled in the National Technical Institute for the Deaf and cross-registered or directly admitted into the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences Film and Animation Program at Rochester Institute of Technology.

The Woman's Club of Rochester Endowed Scholarship Fund for Deaf Students at RIT
Established in 1999 by the Woman's Club for deaf students attending RIT/NTID who have demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to students from the greater Rochester area.

Vernon W. Davis Memorial Mu Zeta Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2017, to provide annual scholarship support to one or more undergraduate RIT/NTID students with preference for students who are members of Mu Zeta Chapter of Sigma Nu fraternity.

W. Paul Urich Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established by the parents of Paul Urich to perpetuate his memory and his love of the field of architecture by providing financial assistance to deaf and/or hard-of-hearing students enrolled in the CAD Technology program with a concentration in architecture, who intend to transfer into baccalaureate degree program in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) program at RIT. First preference will be given to hard-of-hearing students in good academic standing who demonstrate financial need to be able to complete their education.

Warren R. Goldmann Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in February 2008, The Warren R. Goldmann Endowed Scholarship Fund will provide scholarship aid to an eligible deaf or hard-of-hearing NTID- sponsored student who is admitted to and matriculating in an undergraduate Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) program at Rochester Institute of Technology.

WCK Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2019, to provide scholarship support to students enrolled at RIT/NTID. Preference for students residing in the state of Missouri and pursuing degrees in an engineering discipline.

Wilfrid and Isabel Searjeant Scholarship Endowment
Established in 1996 by Wilfrid and Isabel Searjeant with an initial gift that will be added to through an annuity upon their deaths. The scholarship awards will support deaf students enrolled at RIT.

William Randolph Hearst Endowed Scholarship Fund for Financially Disadvantaged at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf
Established in 1994 to support scholarship awards for deaf minority students enrolled at RIT through NTID.

William ‘Dummy’ Hoy Oldtime Baseball Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2015, the fund provides scholarships to students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, enrolled in a full time RIT/NTID degree program and reside in the greater Boston, MA, area. The scholarship is named in honor of William ‘Dummy’ Hoy, a deaf professional baseball player in the early 1900’s who is credited with creating the ‘signs’ for “strike” and “out” that are used in baseball today. The fund was established with proceeds from the Oldtime Baseball game fundraiser, an annual event held in Cambridge, MA.

Women's Council Endowed Scholarship Fund for Hearing-Impaired Students at RIT
Established in 1991 by the members of the Women's Council of RIT to provide scholarship awards to deaf students enrolled in degree programs at RIT.
