Deaf And…

Deaf And… is a dynamic celebration of American Deaf culture from the perspectives of 18 deaf scholars and creative professionals. This docuseries aims to be a transformative work that brings the recognition of Deaf culture into the mainstream as a cornerstone of the larger American community–neither to be cured nor eradicated, but respected and celebrated. The first episode, Deaf Identity, explores the vast diversity of experiences in our Deaf communities and the many journeys we take to find confidence in who we are as deaf individuals.
