Chris Estrin is the Chief Experience Officer at ZP Better Together, LLC, where he leverages more than 30 years of expertise to enhance operations and collaborate with organizations supporting the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Renowned for his advocacy and leadership, Chris served on the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) board for a decade, including as vice president and president. He has also contributed to the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind and the NTID Foundation Board.
A proud RIT/NTID alumnus and Sentinel Society member, Chris received the NTID Distinguished Alumni Award in 2009. He and his family established the Plough-Estrin Memorial Endowed Scholarship for NTID students, and he played a key role as co-chair of NTID’s 50th Anniversary Reunion and in conceptualizing The Next Big Idea competition.
Outside of work, Chris treasures family time, recently meeting his biological father after 50 years. He enjoys life with his partner and their dog, Levi, and loves exploring new places, unique wineries, and historical landmarks.
“I have chosen to serve on the NTID Foundation Board as part of my gratitude for what RIT and NTID have provided to me during my collegiate years and afterwards. I felt it is important to pay back for the invaluable and vast knowledge given to me, for which I am forever indebted. I strongly believe that it is our responsibility to provide the resources and tools to our students based on what we have learned over the years.”
