Tina Childress
Tina Childress is an educational audiologist, late-deafened adult and bilateral cochlear implant recipient who also is fluent in ASL. She has worked in the field of Audiology since 1998, and her experience includes working in the mainstream and residential school settings as well as for a cochlear implant manufacturer. She is a sought-after lecturer and presenter with areas of expertise in cochlear implants, assistive technology, aural rehabilitation and social/emotional impacts of hearing loss. She has significant experience with social media as well as choosing and using apps for children and adults with hearing loss.
With her dual perspective as an audiologist and late-deafened adult with bilateral cochlear implants, her passion is to bring information to consumers and professionals in a way that is understandable and current.
