Student Spotlight

RIT has been a great fit for me because of the accessibility, diversity, and the people here who support me and want me to succeed. I feel very comfortable here. RIT has planted seeds, and I have grown and learned so much, and developed confidence in myself and in my ability to lead. My experience here at RIT has equipped me with the necessary tools and skills I need to accomplish my goal. After I finish my degree, I want to go back home to the Congo and help establish organizations for deaf people. I will have the skills and education I need to support and train deaf people in my country to be strong leaders, so my community can flourish.
