Dr. Steven Day is the head of the Biomedical Engineering Department and works as an Associate Professor, teaching within the department and advising Master’s thesis projects. Over the years, Dr. Day’s research has pertained to the design and implementation of biomedical devices (such as artificial heart pumps), analysis of these systems’ internal fluid dynamics, and naturally occurring biomechanical systems.
