The Bio-Rad CFX Opus qPCR, equipped with a 96-well thermal block, is capable of detecting fluorescent signals across up to five channels. This ensures exceptional thermal uniformity and precise quantification, making it well-suited for a variety of general qPCR applications. With a maximum ramp rate of 5 °C/sec, a thermal gradient spanning from 30 °C to 100 °C, and the ability to detect a single copy of the target sequence in human gDNA, this device offers high-performance capabilities. For optimal results, we recommend a reaction volume ranging from 10 to 50 μl, utilizing validated qPCR plasticware and reagents. The CFX Opus Systems now deliver thermal uniformity of ±0.3⁰C and accuracy of ±0.2⁰C. The combined optical and thermal systems ensure outstanding consistency across the entire reaction plate.
