What is great about your co-op?
As an Operations Analyst Intern at JPMorgan Chase, I had the opportunity to work on KYC due diligence for high-income clients from Latin America. This involved verifying customer identities, collaborating closely with both the back and front office teams, and ensuring accurate documentation to mitigate risks. I learned the intricacies of creating individual KYC tickets, managing personal information, corroborating sources of wealth, and revising comments from Quality Control.
One of the highlights of my experience was proposing an optimized timeline and work distribution plan for the KYC Client Onboarding department. Drawing from my personal experience, I designed this plan to be implemented for the next summer intern class, which I believe will enhance the department's efficiency and effectiveness. This project allowed me to apply my skills, adapt to the workplace, and contribute meaningfully to the team's success.
