Brian Hall named RIT’s Outstanding Alumnus of 2018
Brian Hall ’78 (MBA) will be honored with the Outstanding Alumnus of 2018 award at the Presidents’ Alumni Ball on Oct. 19 during Brick City Homecoming & Family Weekend. The award is the highest honor RIT can bestow upon an alumnus. -

RIT students and parents ‘Explore Croatia’
Six students and eight parents spent a week at the end of May in Croatia for “Explore Croatia,” a program sponsored by RIT’s Parent and Family Programs that provided non-credit study-abroad experience. It was the first time a trip was planned for students as well as their parents. -

Emergency mass notification clock wins STEAM contest
A team of three computer engineering majors has developed a prototype for an emergency mass notification clock, which won the top prize and $5,000 in RIT’s first STEAM competition, sponsored by RIT’s Center for Public Safety Initiatives. -
