    RIT to launch new physics Ph.D. program in fall 2024

    RIT will begin offering a new Ph.D. in the fall of 2024 that is designed to prepare graduates to extend the frontiers of fundamental scientific knowledge and develop new advances in technologies at the forefronts of 21st century physics.

    The CHIPR conference, standing for cultural heritage imaging, preservation, and research, was held on the RIT campus on August 15, 2022. It was a free learning opportunity open to anyone in the region based at museums, libraries, archives, and historical societies interested in preservation, access, and research.

    Distinguished alumni named for 2022-2023

    Eleven RIT alumni have been awarded Distinguished Alumni Awards for the 2022-2023 year. It is the highest award an RIT college can bestow upon its alumni and recognizes alumni who have performed at the highest levels of their profession or who have contributed to the advancement and leadership of civic, philanthropic, or service organizations. The 2022-2023 recipients will be honored during presentations throughout the academic year.

    RIT university-wide career fair draws thousands of students in search of new pathways

    Roughly 4,000 RIT students and alumni came to RIT’s university-wide career fair today in search of co-ops, internships, or full-time employment. Recruiters from nearly 230 local, regional, and national companies, including Thomson Reuters, Kodak Alaris, Collins Aerospace, L3Harris, and O’Connell Electric Co., were present.
