RIT is one of the best places in the world to study game design and develop a career, according to new rankings from The Princeton Review.

Animation Career Review has again named RIT one of the top game design universities in the country. RIT ranked No. 5 on the list of Top 50 Game Design Schools and Colleges in the U.S. and No. 2 in New York state.

The Military Friendly Schools list is created each year based on extensive research using public data sources for more than 8,800 schools nationwide, input from student veterans, and responses to the proprietary, data-driven Military Friendly Schools survey from participating institutions.

RIT’s School of Film and Animation is once again ranked among the top animation schools in the country by Animation Career Review, a leading online resource of information for aspiring animation and game design professionals.

RIT earned a spot on the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers 2022. This award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the statistics portal and industry ranking provider.

RIT has been recognized for offering some of the best online programs in the nation, including Saunders College of Business Executive MBA program, which leaped to No. 9 in the latest rankings.

The Executive MBA program at RIT’s Saunders College of Business is ranked 27th in Princeton Review’s “Top 50 Online MBA Programs for 2022.” The college’s rigorous Executive MBA program is based on developing students’ strategic thinking and decision-making skills in a flexible, small-class environment.

For the 11th consecutive year, RIT has been named one of the greenest universities by The Princeton Review.

RIT has been designated by the national publication Woman Engineer as one of the Top 20 Universities, recognized for its offerings of a diversified curriculum, student base, and faculty, as well as its ability to foster a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

RIT received national recognition for its work to help diversify the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) workforce. STEM Workforce Diversity Magazine ranked RIT among its top 20 universities for 2021.

RIT's sponsored research awards surpassed $76 million for the 2020-2021 fiscal year, another significant milestone in spite of the challenges posed to research efforts brought about by the pandemic. In addition, the university also achieved a new record in terms of the number and the cumulative value of proposals submitted.
