Incoming Erasmus+ Students

Erasmus+ students, welcome to RIT Croatia!

RIT Croatia takes pride in its student diversity and has welcomed exchange students at the Dubrovnik and Zagreb campuses for many years.

Spending a few months in a different culture and community is the best opportunity to establish intercultural contacts, have valuable insight into a different culture, learn a language and grow as a person!  By taking advantage of this program, you will diversify your cultural perspective by studying and engaging with Croatian and international students from all across the globe

In order to be accepted as an exchange student you need to be a student at, and nominated by, one of our partner universities. Your home university does the nomination. Once you have been accepted at RIT Croatia you will receive an e-mail from the Erasmus office with further information on how to proceed before your arrival.

Erasmus Student Network

Erasmus Student Network Croatia is an independent, non-profit, student, voluntary, apolitical, non-governmental, and non-religious national organization governed by the principles of Erasmus Student Network AISBL. They are a part of the biggest student association in Europe, which was founded in 1989 and registered in 1990 with the goal of supporting and developing student exchange. ESN network is present in more than 1000 Higher Education Institutions, in more than 40 countries, has more than 15,000 active members, and involves around 40,000 young people in their activities to around 350,000 international exchange students every year!

They advocate the quality and quantity of mobility in the European Higher Education Area, spot obstacles and motivations for students to go abroad, try to detect solutions, and ensure that detrimental factors are reduced and favorable components are increased.

It is advisable that you get in touch with ESN Croatia (Zagreb or Dubrovnik) right after you have been accepted for mobility to RIT Croatia.

Orientation day

International Student Office will organize a Welcome event for all Erasmus students, aiming to establish relations among all incoming exchange students. You will be informed about the Orientation Day program well in advance via e-mail.

Student Identity Card – The X Card

Exchange students at RIT Croatia are entitled to hold a student identity card, so-called the X Card. It is a sort of pre-paid card used in students’ cafeterias and restaurants. It is not only a “license to eat”, but also a card that proves your student status, so you can get some tickets and services at a reduced price.
