As part of the Math Night (Večer matematike), held across kindergartens, schools, and universities throughout Croatia, RIT Croatia invites you to two engaging online workshops via the Zoom platform on Thursday, December 5, 2024.

Workshop #1: “Mathematical Modeling, Excel, and ChatGPT in Management”

• Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Overview: Dive into the fascinating world of business optimization! This workshop focuses on identifying optimization problems, modeling them mathematically, and solving them using Excel Solver and ChatGPT. Participants will compare, interpret, and discuss the results from both tools.
• Audience: Primarily high school students, but university students are welcome!

Workshop #2: “Sums and Tricks from the Forest”

• Time: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Overview: Uncover clever tricks for summing series, a skill applicable in math, physics, economics, and finance. Learn innovative and sophisticated methods to solve summation problems, making math fun and engaging.
• Audience: Primarily high school students, but university students are welcome!
