Meet our new Student Government!

And the new SG president is…
Andrea Đanić! Andrea is a senior student in the International Business BS program who is leaving her marks in the different areas of campus life. This year, she decided to take one more role in the variety of her on and off-campus activities – to be the president of the Student Government.
Andrea shared her thoughts on the importance and purpose of the Student Government at RIT Croatia. We will let her statement justify her new SG role:
“Simply said, Student Government at RIT Croatia equals family. It is a safe place where all our members feel appreciated and loved. We are passionate about helping students have the best possible college experience. Since the Student Government consists of students, we believe that we have the best insight into the needs and wants of our generation. Student Government is actively seeking to improve the students’ lives, both academic and personal. By hosting different events throughout the semester, we are closing the gap between students and staff while also listening to the needs of our community. The upcoming Fall semester is going to be an exciting one. Student Government is going to work on strengthening the bond between the students while also offering a variety of events that students can choose to attend. We want to encourage the students to be curious, to ask questions, and come to us when they need advice or someone to hear them out - we are always looking to help others!”
At RIT Croatia, SG plays a vital role in shaping the campus culture and enhancing the student experience by creating a vibrant and inclusive environment for all students. We look forward to seeing all the great things they will do this year!
