RIT climbs to No. 91 nationally in ‘U.S. News’ best colleges ranking

Rochester Institute of Technology has risen to #91 in the 2025 U.S. News & World Report rankings—its highest ranking to date. This reflects a solid jump of seven spots from last year, highlighting the progress as a top “National University.” RIT was also cited for “Best Value,” co-ops and internships, undergraduate teaching, and overall investment. By leveraging the power of technology, the arts, and design, we are increasingly gaining recognition as a university that provides a stellar education.
