WMC students and their professors presented at the 45th International Convention on Information and Communication Technology, Electronics and Microelectronics - MIPRO 2022

Our WMC students, Dora Beronić, Lara Modrić, and Nina Novosel, together with Dr. Branko Mihaljević and Dr.Aleksander Radovan, attended the 45th International Convention on Information and Communication Technology, Electronics and Microelectronics - MIPRO2022 on May 23rd in Opatija, and presented two student research papers:

  • Comparison of Structured Concurrency Constructs in Java and Kotlin - by Dora Beronić, Lara Modrić, Branko Mihaljević, and Aleksander Radovan
  • Assessing Contemporary Automated Memory Management in Java - Garbage First, Shenandoah, and Z Garbage Collectors Comparison - by Dora Beronić, Nina Novosel, Branko Mihaljević, and Aleksander Radovan

The MIPRO conference is one of the oldest international scientific conferences in Croatia, co-sponsored by IEEE and supported by many universities and high schools in Croatia, as well as large companies such as Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Hrvatski Telekom, A1 Hrvatska, Končar, HEP, and many others. All research papers published in the conference proceedings are also indexed in IEEE Xplore Digital Library, Web of Science Core Collection, and Scopus.
