Conference Program
October 26, 2024 (Saturday), RIT Croatia campus in Zagreb, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm:
- Startups 101 (lecture, Scott Coleman, RIT Croatia)
- Startup Spotlights (presentations of Croatian start-ups Skaut, DELTAsort, Chilla, Sonder.AI, Choncha)
- Panel Discussion on the topic From Classroom to Startup: Essential Skills and Education (Una Pašić Gregović, Dr. Maja Vidović i Vid Zavalić)
Note: The conference is delivered in English language.
Students as Conference Organizers
This is the second edition of our Start-up Conference, and following the success of the first edition, which involved over 80 high school students, we proudly continue to provide opportunities for young people. What makes this conference unique is that the entire project – from the program, speakers, and logistics, all the way to this text on the website – was created by our students.
During their education at RIT Croatia, students gain experience in entrepreneurship and want to share that knowledge with young people who have ideas but may not yet know how to develop them into successful business projects.
You can expect a day filled with inspiring stories from student entrepreneurship. During the conference, you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the Croatian student start-up scene through presentations of innovative start-ups and learn which skills you need to develop to one day become a successful entrepreneur!
No prior knowledge is required to participate in the conference. Therefore, let it be your first step into entrepreneurship!
