Kory Samuels named NACUFS 66th chairperson
Associate vice president of auxiliary services, Kory Samuels, was named The National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) 66th chairperson. NACUFS has been supporting and promoting excellence in collegiate dining since 1958, and it is dedicated to serving as the professional resource for collegiate foodservice leaders. There are currently 344 active universities and colleges within the NACUFS network.
"I'm excited to be able to see collegiate dining in a wider scope across our nation. This will allow me to leverage our dining program to help others and borrow ideas to elevate our RIT community's dining experience. It is very humbling to be named Board Chair of the most respected association in collegiate food service and to have the most talented food service professionals look to me for guidance. Over the last 13 years, I have leaned on the NACUFS Association and forged partnerships with universities across the world to improve RIT's dining experience. Leading Trustees from this association to provide value to our universities is a huge responsibility, which I welcome with excitement and gratitude."
