RIT received this high ranking due to staff specifically trained to be sensitive to food allergies, with designated chefs who will walk you through the cooking procedures so you know what's in your food. In addition, RIT Dining has a designated registered dietitian who helps students customize their meals to meet nutritional needs. The registered dietitian offers several services, including managing food allergies and intolerances, special dietary needs, meal preferences, healthy eating behaviors, nutrition counseling, eating concerns, food ingredients, and general nutrition.
RIT manages a NetNutrition®️ platform, which assists students in accessing nutritional information, allergens to avoid, and where to get food on campus that meets their dietary needs. RIT has a strict food allergy and intolerance policy program. RIT Dining provides flexibility in customizing nutritious meals and allows customers to make entrées their way.
