    New York State Assemblyman Joe Morelle, center, visited science camp at the Center for Bioscience Education and Technology on Aug. 6. Middle school and high school students from the surrounding area have taken advantage of a variety of weeklong bioscience camps held this summer at the center. Funding from a $2 million gift from Excellus BlueCross and BlueShield helps support the center’s laboratories and academic and community outreach programs. Kearney, chairman, president and chief executive officer of SPX Corp., has transformed SPX from a domestic automotive supplier to a global, multi-industry manufacturer in more than 35 countries. Kearney was the guest speaker for the E. Philip Saunders College of Business Executive Leaders Network Luncheon on July 22.
