    Award-winning film director Irene Taylor Brodsky will show her film, Hear and Now, winner at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival, at 7 p.m. June 14 in NTID’s Panara Theatre. Brodsky is an Emmy Award-winning news and documentary producer, writer, and photographer whose stories have aired on HBO, CBS, Fox, The History Channel and A & E.     The 11th Annual Staff Appreciation Day & Community Picnic hosted a Classic Car Display on May 30. Brennan Coon’s daily ride, a 1968 Dodge Dart, just happens to be in RIT orange. Coon works as intramurals assistant and club sports coordinator at RIT’s Center for Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation.

    The Rochester Institute of Technology community marks a milestone as the university prepares to celebrate its 122nd annual commencement May 25-26 and will surpass 100,000 as members of the Class of 2007 accept their diplomas. President Bill Clinton is the keynote speaker at the event. Clinton and Yohei Sasakawa, chair of The Nippon Foundation of Japan, will each receive an honorary doctorate of humane letters during the ceremony. Sasakawa is acknowledged as the primary advocate for the foundation’s funding of the Postsecondary Education Network International (PEN-International) at RIT’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf.     Richard Slynko, a fourth-year design major (center), presents his marketing plan for Freshwise Farms to representatives of Foodlink, a regional non-profit agency devoted to fighting hunger. Two RIT Design for Marketing classes worked on the project during spring quarter. The event is a tradition based on \"walking through\" the school’s metals, wood, ceramics and glass studios to view work created throughout the school year by RIT’s talented student artists.
