Disability EmpowHer Network is looking for creative Social Media Interns to assist our growing organization. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization’s success. This position is flexible and averages 15-20 hours per week.
Social Media Interns support staff to develop and implement outreach and promotional campaigns to boost brand engagement. The duties and responsibilities of a Social Media Intern include:
- Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
- Assist in creating content calendars to promote organization on various social media websites
- Create and distribute content such as blogs, newsletters, infographics, videos and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets
- Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
- Improve accessibility of website by adding image descriptions
- Assist in increasing SEO
This position is unpaid.
- Knowledge of SEO
- Knowledge of common social media platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc)
- Ability to create visually engaging content
- Knowledge of social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and Twitter Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance
