The Payroll and Benefits Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day functions of coordinating and administering payroll-related activities, including onboarding, payroll processing, and benefit administration. The position will also be required to perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the Director of Business Operations to facilitate the efficient operation of the Business Office.
High School Diploma
At least 3 years of secretarial or payroll processing experience
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
Proficient computer skills; knowledgeable in applications for e-mail, Google and Microsoft Suites, and payroll processing with Paychex Flex system
Ability to show good judgment, adaptability, and discretion with staff
Ability to effectively communicate using English (written) and American Sign Language (Intermediate level)
