Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, in ASL-English Interpretation preferred. Comfortable being flexible in a variety of situations and communicate with the team for all on-site support. Strong expressive and receptive skills in both languages. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Thorough understanding of the sociolinguistic dynamics of the Deaf community. Willingness to exceed the expectations of the R.I.D. Code of Professional Conduct. R.I.D. Certified preferred, but not required. Prompt ethical decision-making skills.
