Job Description:
Service Bridges, Inc. [1], a Deaf owned/operated sign language interpreting
agency is hiring staff interpreters to serve from our base in Buffalo, New
York. Competitive salary, benefits with 100% on-site support for in-person
interpreting and access to in-office VRI desk. Successful candidates are
encouraged to take the national interpreter certification exams within 2

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in ASL-English Interpreting is preferred, not required
- Willing to live within greater Buffalo/Western New York area
- Strong work ethic and prompt communications in support of scheduling team
- Strong expressive and receptive skills in ASL and English communication;
flexible with various communication preferences
- Committed to elevating interpreting techniques to match the nature of
interpreting service
- Willingness to exceed the industry standards and expectations of conduct
within the sociolinguistic dynamics of the Deaf community
