Successful candidates are encouraged to take the national interpreter certification exams within 2 years of employment. - Bachelor's degree in ASL-English Interpreting is preferred, not required
- Willing to live within greater Buffalo/Western New York area
- Strong work ethic and prompt communications in support of scheduling team
- Strong expressive and receptive skills in ASL and English communication; flexible with various communication preferences
- Committed to elevating interpreting techniques to match the nature of interpreting service
- Willingness to exceed the industry standards and expectations of conduct within the sociolinguistic dynamics of the Deaf community
