A. Two (2) years of paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience in
providing American Sign Language interpretation services;
OR:
B. Possession of a National Interpreter Certificate (NIC)* recognized by the
Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf;
OR:
C. Possession of an Associate’s degree or higher in American Sign Language
Interpretation or a closely related field;
OR:
D. An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the
limits of (A), (B), and (C) above.
*Must submit copy of certificate with application.
