Where is your hometown?
I am from Portville, New York.

What was your RIT/NTID degree program and graduation date?
I graduated from the College of Engineering Technology with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology in May 2023.

What is your career goal?
My career goal is to start an engineering company that consults on Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing. The aim is to support small businesses that may not be able to afford having a department of their own for this purpose. I'm working towards that goal by working in manufacturing and engineering fields to gain knowledge and hands-on experience.

What was your co-op employer name and location?
Encourus Group in West Seneca, New York and Wendt Corporation in Cheektowaga, New York.

What was your position at your co-op and what were the role’s responsibilities?
My co-ops were both engineering roles. One was a mechanical integrity inspection position and the other was a manufacturing engineering position.

How did your studies at RIT/NTID prepare you for your co-op?
Through my education at RIT, I gained a variety of mentors who developed my technical and leadership skills, which were easily applicable to my tasks at my co-ops.
