How does your career relate to your degree from RIT/NTID?
Being a financial intelligence intern at Quicken Loans is closely related to my finance degree since I had the chance to apply many concepts and practical learning in the classroom to this co-op, especially in the areas of financial modeling and analysis. This also helped me decide where I wanted to be in the financial industry when it comes to post-graduation as well.
Do you have any advice for any current students attending RIT/NTID?
I definitely recommend students to start networking as soon as you feel ready to take a leap into your career path. I have met many educators, faculty and individuals inside and outside of RIT/NTID, and the connections that I have made with each person is worth it. I do believe putting in the time for networking is important, because it really paves the way for what you want in your future, regardless of your major or college of study.
