May 2022.
Where are you currently employed for your co-op or internship, and what is your job title?
For my internship, I was employed by a company called Inspira. My job title was Business Administrative Analyst.
What are your work responsibilities?
My work responsibilities included a combination of inventory analysis, expense analysis, review sales data, and other administrative tasks as requested.
How does your co-op or internship relate to your degree from RIT/NTID?
I was able to utilize many subjects that I learned in my coursework at RIT/NTID. Some of the courses I took that applied to my job were Fundamentals of Spreadsheets, Essentials Document Production, Business Communications, and Applied Ethics.
Do you have any advice for any current students attending RIT/NTID?
When searching for an internship, finding a company in your field and with a culture that fits your ideals and goals is very important. It is also very important to challenge yourself to go out of your comfort zone and gain more valuable experience.
