What are your work responsibilities?
My main responsibility was researching and documenting a variety of accessibility tools for Fidelity stakeholders whom has a disability. I also tested Windows Operating System (OS) builds, and did baseline testing for laptops and desktops based on performance.
How does your career relate to your degree from RIT/NTID?
At my recent co-op at Fidelity, I worked on system engineering tasks including testing O.S. builds and laptops/desktops, and managing deployed applications using a virtual machine. The experience I gained while at my co-op will help me with pursuing my degree in CMIT.
Do you have any advice for any current students attending RIT/NTID?
Sell yourself by showing the skills and knowledge you received in your job or co-op interviews. Also, when you are searching for a co-op or job, stay on top of things, and do not delay your responsibilities!
