Work Responsibilities
My responsibilities involve helping to ensure project data integrity by conducting initial quality control and using tools and internal processes, including exception-based reports inside Tableau to review, log and fix data. I have the opportunity to collaborate with team members on specific research engagements and special projects, and I analyze the reports and understand the value of the data for investors.

How my career relates to my degree from RIT/NTID
The Saunders’ Management Information Systems program has prepared me for careers that involve enterprise technologies, which include the analysis, design and management of information systems. For this internship, skills that I have gained from the Saunders College enabled me to comprehend the business model and see how I can become an effective employee. Some of the skills include the ability to gather the data that our clients are requesting and the ability to interpret and sell the data. There is no question that pursuing the Management Information System degree from Rochester Institute of Technology has provided me with many options for choosing a specific position within the business world! Between the education I have received at RIT’s Saunders College of Business and the experiences from my co-ops, I feel confident going into the workplace next summer. I have been offered and have accepted a job at Whirlpool.

If you have passion for business and technology, I highly recommend checking out the MIS program at RIT. It is ranked as one of the top MIS programs in the country. Companies are constantly hiring Saunders’ MIS students since the program is highly coordinated with the industry’s requirements.
